On a recent balmy June evening a slew of radiant models, actors and designers came together at the amfAR International event to celebrate Mens’ Style. Honouree Michael Kors was recognized for his timeless designs and widely public support of AIDS research.

Among the attendees was the gorgeous model Chanel Iman – she always looks like such a glamour cat. Seen here at the recent amfAR International Gala after party, she channels her inner minx with this seductively sleek Michael Kors dress. The event which raised over $700,000 for AIDS research was filled with such stunners as Heidi Klum, Alek Wek, a (tiny!) Jennifer Hudson and a scruffy James Franco. The theme, with a Michael Kors nod, was titled “Black Tie, Hot Metal.”

 Chanel Iman is my pick for best dressed of the night. I love looks that showcase just the outfit, with fantastic makeup and a few accent pieces.  Naturally, this picture struck me due to the gorgeous “it” colour, the juicy deep tangerine red; her skin, hair and makeup are also flawless.  Glamour done right, her gold clutch and sandals accent the warmth of the dress, and the simplistic look is so chic. The Jessica Rabbit inspired slit up the thigh was my favourite detail. I had visions of crashing this party, sipping champagne on a banquette table and discussing the trends for Fall. 

Michael Kors always makes beautiful clothes, and this was no exception!
