{ Locket to my heart }

I know you are all wanting to see the outfit post of the dress I purchased recently -- but I've been running around town like crazy and haven't had a chance to style it up the way I'd like. I promise I will get too it soon.

I was off to do make-up this morning for Cogeco cable -- so I needed to wear something comfortable and a little more colour saturated, so that if I got any makeup on myself -- it wouldn't stain. Comfy clothing is what called today!

I did however, get to wear something really special. I received recently a locket from my Nan that's been passed down in my family for generations. She'd given to me as my, "something borrowed" to wear in my wedding this upcoming June.

It's been in the family for years -- and the reason she gave it too me, is because I lost my mom 4 years ago to cancer. So unfortunately, she won't be physically there at my wedding. To make it even more special for me, my Nan included two photos (very OLD photo's I may add - the 1980's!) of my mom and I.

Needless to say -- I've been wearing it everywhere. There isn't a day when I don't think about my mom -- we were very close.
