{ Film Noir Inspirations }
The cinema has always been a constant source of inspiration for many over the years. Plenty of creative individuals draw their inspiration from there regularly. This time, Micheal Bastain for Grant created his very first womens line, with film noir elements of the 1953 film, "Niagara".
While the entire collection won't be show until New York's fashion week in September, we've been lucky enough to get a sneak peak at what's to come in the fall from WWD.

Not overly feminine, the collection so far is a "tomboy chic" if you will - tailored pieces you might find in your boyfriends closet mixed with lace and other such feminine accents. The combination together is a subtle sexiness and edge.
One thing I'm pleasantly surprised at is that this collection will have prices ranging from $60-$320.00.
I love it! What do you think?
