{ Lama Lashes }

When doing makeup with my clients, one of the biggest gripes all of my clients tell me they have is trying to find that, “perfect mascara”. The mascara that will give us lashes that stretch on for days and will give us the added volume we need in order to have our eyes “pop”.

It can be daunting to find one that works! There are so many different companies and types of mascara out there that are marketed to the consumer everyday! We have drugstore brands and name brands – each which have a variety of mascaras that promise us what we’ve been looking for – and then fail to deliver.

What’s a girl to do?

I’d like to recommend a product that I have been using for years that has never let me down – Lancôme’s “Definicils” mascara. Let me tell you – this is the mascara of your dreams.

Every single client I’ve introduced it to swoons over the gorgeous – easy glide texture and the fact that the mascara doesn’t clump. To top it off – it gives you the beautiful lama lashes you’ve been searching for all along!

I recommend putting one coat of this mascara on, and once that layer dries – add another for that extra pop!

From dealing with makeup on a regular basis, I have to say – I have yet to find a drugstore brand that REALLY works. My feeling is this – you get what you pay for. Lancôme will normally run you approximately $32.00 a shot, but since it’s the finishing touch to your makeup, please hear me when I say that it’s a good thing to invest in.

Do you need to purchase expensive makeup in general? Absolutely not. There are some things you can find in the drugstores that are a much higher quality than any “over the counter” makeup. But – that’s another topic that I will touch on later. :)
