{ Flapper }
I love picking up a good book. Something about being lost in a fabulous story is just divine to me.
I recently picked up the book, "Flapper: A madcap story of sex, style, celebrity, and the women who made America modern" by Joshua Zeitz. Let me tell you - this is a book you don't want to miss.
The fashion, hyjnx and unbelieveable tales of women in the 1920's and what they had to put up with is nothing short of shocking. Joshua's research of this era is nothing but thorough, and he does an excellent job of recounting events in the lives of some of the most famous flappers - including Coco Chanel herself.
I love this era and all of the fashions - one of the reasons I picked up this book. After reading it, I highly recommend it to everyone. It's delicious!
Have you read this book? What are some of your favorite books you recommend?
